Este es el primer disco que subo al blog y escogí precisamente este gran trabajo porque es distinto a todo. Al escuchar Grayskul uno tiende a recordar a Company Flow o algo mas actual como Canibal Ox con su gran disco "The Cold Vein". Es mas, incluso los propios integrantes de Grayskul, de los cuales ya hablare, han dicho que al escuchar a Canibal Ox se remontaron a los tiempos de Co-flow y eso les dio fuerza para realizar este gran proyecto.
Grayskul esta formado por Onry Ozzborn y JFK con la colaboracion de Rob Castro, el cual es el ingeniero en sonido y bajista. Estos personajes forman parte de un gran colectivo de rappers y productores, establecidos en Seattle y Portland, llamado Oldominion.
Sin duda alguna "Deadlivers" es uno de los mejores discos del 2005. pues contiene todo lo que uno desea que tenga un disco, con espectaculares flows y beats poderosos, lleno de locura y paranoia y el grado de fluidez de estos mc's es próximo a la perfección. Una pequeña intro y uno se comienza a preparar para lo que viene y mientras aun no estas listo se asoma una poderosa y espectacular Behold, con un sonido que te atrapa y un inspirado Onry que comienza a destrozar el beat con su punzante voz. Son 2:37 para dar paso a una agresiva Bombs and Chemical, donde comenzamos a prepararnos para lo que viene y comienzas a preguntarte que sorpresa nos prepara este magnifico trio. Pasan los minutos y lo único que deseas es escuchar mas y mas de estos genios. Cada tema tiene un sello particular y en su conjunto es un disco que esta lleno de originalidad y de buenas colaboraciones como Aesop Rock en Voltronic instructional spionage o Abstarct Rude en After Hours, por nombrar a algunos.
